Our Priests

“I was very young – first or second grade – and was already telling people I wanted to be a priest,” Fr. Ted Mauch recalls. “That thought always seemed to be there.” 

Father Ted studied at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and was ordained a priest in June 2010. He currently serves as Pastor of Our Lady of Consolation and Holy Martyrs Parishes in Merrillville, Indiana. 

Fr. Steven Caraher was ordained in June of 2024.  He currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Our Lady of Consolation and Holy Martyrs Parishes in Merrillville, Indiana and the chaplain at Andrean High School. 

Parish Offices, Chapel, Hall, Class, and Meeting Rooms are located in the Parish Activity Center behind the Church.
