Teen Group

The "Teen" Group is open to all teenagers of the parish and their friends. We have 2 "Teen" groups.  Middle school 7th and 8th grade students meet on Saturdays at 11am.  Scheduled dates will appear in the bulletin and at this site. High School 9th through 12th grade students hold meetings on Sunday at 5:30pm in the Parish Activity Center to complete community service projects, watch movies, discuss current issues, or just "chill", but always to eat! Whatever the group is doing always involves friendship and fun! We thank God for each other! Any changes to the date and time of meetings will appear in the bulletin and at this site.

We participate in diocesan events such as Catholic Youth Xperience(CYX) and have two representatives on the Diocesan Youth Council from our parish.

"Teens" will attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City, MO. Novmber 19th through 22nd. 

Youth Ministers network and invitations are received for many other parishes' events.

We have held overnight Lock-INs, annual apple picking, pie baking, and hayrides, car washes, host the Parish Family Halloween Party, collect for Souper Bowl Sunday, community service projects, watch movies, make prayer blankets, Experiential Crucificion, and retreats with Father Terry Deffenbaugh discussing topics important to teens.

	Youth Group Bake Sale - February 6 and 7 - after all Masses
	TEENS: Please bring your baked goods to the Faith Formation Office on Saturday morning from 9-noon. Questions: call Judy at 769-2295.

	TEEN Meetings - every Sunday - 5:30 to 7:00 pm
	In the Hall! All High School Teens are welcome! Teens from Lake Central, Crown Point, La Lumiere, Andrean, Merrillville, Marian, Wheeler and Culver Academy are represented in our group!
