Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is open to all teenagers of the parish and their friends. We have two ministries.  Middle school 7th and 8th grade students meet on Saturdays at 11am.  Scheduled dates will appear in the bulletin and at this site. 

High School (OLCYG) 9th through 12th grade students hold meetings the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 6:00pm to complete community service projects, watch movies, discuss current issues, or just "chill"! Whatever the group is doing always involves friendship and fun! We thank God for each other! Any changes to the date and time of meetings will appear in the bulletin and at this site.

We participate in diocesan events such as Catholic Youth Xperience(CYX) and have two representatives on the Diocesan Youth Council from our parish.

We have held overnight Lock-INs, annual apple picking, pie baking, and hayrides, car washes, host the Parish Family Halloween Party, collect for Souper Bowl Sunday, community service projects, watch movies, make prayer blankets, Experiential Crucificion, and retreats with Father Terry Deffenbaugh discussing topics important to teens.
