First time parents or parents who have not attended a baptism class for their previous children, are ask to attend a Baptism Class for Parents before the baptism. The class will give parents a better understanding of the responsibilities of a Catholic parent and the implication of baptism for their child. During the class, parents will become familiar with the rite and the meaning of the various rituals, symbols, prayers, etc. used during the baptism. Parents will also be given some practical advice about raising Christian children. There is no cost for this class, however registration is required by calling the parish office at 769-1755. |
